In a previous article, I made the case why Jesus can be the Messiah, in this series I want to contradict this article through counterexamples. In this series, we will be rendering from an Orthodox faith, as Reformed Jews do not directly see the Messiah as a coming person but something that anyone can be.
The big question around which everything revolves is: “Does Jesus meet the characteristics conclusively established by the Tanach (Old Testament).”
Answering this question is comes with a note. Someone must avoid adding Jesus to confirm a bais and at the same time look objectively at what true Messianic professions are. The danger is that texts are interpreted with our 21st-century view. For this reason, I believe we should look at the founder of this belief, Judaism.
