Knowing all of this, what do about it? If you are a believing Christian yourself, you might want to look further into the claims made by this series. There are two sources that I found very useful. Jews for Judaism, Tovia Singer. However, those are indeed biased towards Judaism which can be useful for understanding the cultural context of beliefs.
In summary of what we spoke about:
Jews do not accept Jesus as the messiah because (part 2):
1. Jesus did not fulfill the messianic prophecies.
2. Jesus did not embody the personal qualifications of the Messiah.
3. The requirements for Olam Ha-Ba (The World To Come) are not fulfilled.
Having said that, Jews distance themselves from the idea that Jesus is G-d and savior and at the same time part of the Trinity. There is no savior besides G-d, a human being cannot serve as a sacrifice or atonement, Jesus’ sacrifice was unclean and did not fulfill any Jewish law, and a blood offer is not the only way for atonement. Jews view the Trinity and that Jesus would be G-d as direct idolatry and blasphemy of G-d. Furthermore, the idea of a second coming is not a Jewish concept, there are no prophets who say that the Messiah is G-d, is anything remotely similar to Jesus, and much less that there is a Trinity. There is only ONE G-d!
